System requirements for SAP Jam

System and software requirements depend on specific customer scenarios, and are subject to change. Refer to the SAP Jam Guides for more information about system and software requirements, and the latest information on updates and releases.

System Requirements Description
Web Browsers SAP Jam supports the following: Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer 8 to 11, and Safari 5 to 7
Browser Configuration SAP Jam is a Web 2.0 application that relies on caching for static content. The minimum suggested cache size is 250 MB, and cache clearing is not recommended. Newer Web pages, HTTP/1.1, JavaScript, and browser session cookies (non-persistent) must be enabled. The browser must allow pop-up windows from SAP Jam domains to display some types of content.
Network Bandwidth A connection speed of 300-400 Kbit/s is recommended. SAP Jam is designed for speed and responsiveness with minimal use of large graphic files.  
Adobe Flash Adobe Flash plug-in is required. Currently, SAP Jam supports Adobe Flash Player 10.0 or higher.
Java Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 1.7 or higher is required for recording audio and video. JRE 1.7.0_6 or higher is required to use the learning management system (LMS) offline player.
