At SAP we make it easy for you to understand the depth of expertise and experience our partners have based on their level in the SAP PartnerEdge program and any SAP Recognized Expertise designations they’ve acquired.

  • SAP PartnerEdge Open Ecosystem Partners – These are our entry level partners, and often represent smaller organizations, or those partners who have a new and growing relationship with SAP. All of these partners are required to complete minimum training before they can begin engaging with companies like yours.
  • SAP PartnerEdge Silver Partners – These partners are part of our tiered SAP PartnerEdge program; and while it is considered the entry level into this program these companies have had to meet some pretty stringent requirements. These partners have made a time, financial and resources commitment to join the program, and have passed our skills assessments and evaluation checks to qualify for program entry.  Aside from meeting the requirements, these partners must continue to adhere to ongoing training and business operations requirements in order maintain their silver status. 
  • SAP PartnerEdge Gold Partners – These partners have achieved the gold level status within the SAP PartnerEdge program by performing at a high level across their entire business and by illustrating a strong commitment to delivering business value to our customers. A partner cannot achieve gold status on business performance or size of customer base alone, because we also allocate points for competency and strategic alignment. Partners are evaluated on a yearly basis and must continue to overachieve to maintain their gold status.
  • SAP PartnerEdge Platinum Partners – Our platinum partners represent our most strategic and global partnership organizations. Partners can only become platinum by invitation, and are offered this level based on a business case that is reviewed and approved by the SAP Executive Board. Working with one of our platinum partners means you’re working with one of our largest and most vested SAP partners.
  • SAP Recognized Expertize – When you see one of our partners using the SAP Recognized Expertise logo it shows they have a acquired a specialization and depth of experience with regard to implementing services in a specific area, SAP solution, or industry. Since each partner must go through rigorous training and meet stringent requirements to achieve a SAP Recognized Expertise designation, you can rest easy knowing they are truly experts in the area of specialization.
