Today, JDC works in more than 70 countries and in Israel to alleviate hunger and hardship, rescue Jews in danger, create lasting connections to Jewish life, and provide immediate relief and long-term development support for victims of natural and man-made disasters.

After 100+ years of service, the board of trustees challenged JDC to modernize some of their outdated business practices. To begin the transformation, they chose to implement the SuccessFactors® Employee Central solution to simplify HR processes and improve operational efficiency.

The JDC was seeking easy-to-run, easy-to-use software suited to the needs of a younger, mobile and highly connected workforce. On the back-end, they also needed the software to perform compelling analytics and reporting. The software also needed to be highly upgradable for continuous improvement and regular updates. Their plans include implementing SuccessFactors Recruiting solutions, introducing the SAP® ERP Human Capital Management solution by integrating with SuccessFactors Employee Central, and using SuccessFactors solutions to better understand and improve JDC’s delivery of services. The company is also looking to connect their young workforce and capitalize on their adaptation of mobile technologies by implementing mobile offerings and the SAP Jam™ social software platform for even more collaboration.
