Convergent IS implemented SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori user experience to manage the risks of foreign exchange and centralize outdated legacy systems. A year into the new system, the new digital core, SAP S/4HANA Enterprise Management was released and Convergent was ready to take advantage of the upgrade.
With only ten weeks for implementation, Convergent became the first “conversion” customer to the 1511 release, expanding beyond finance to other lines of business including order-to-cash using the SAP Fiori user experience.

Convergent IS was already running SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori user experience with amazing results. When the company learned about the upgrade, they immediately saw the potential benefits of making the switch as early as possible. As part of the SAP S/4HANA Early Adopter Care Program, Convergent IS received significant help from SAP to ensure a successful adoption of the new technologies. SAP provided a project coach, a development sponsor and a development expert, and ensured swift resolution of all issues as they arose. Convergent IS had a direct link into SAP development team to help them get the most out of the new solution.
Enter SAP: The SAP Experience
Within just ten weeks from start to finish, Convergent IS achieved the first conversion on a global basis, and first 1511 install in the Americas. Convergent IS had implemented SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori user experience only a year earlier. These solutions gave the company the tools needed to manage the risks of foreign exchange. The SAP S/4HANA solution eliminated the reconciliation between financial and management accounting, putting this information into a single central location. The new upgrade enhanced the system with impact throughout all areas of business. The company gained immediate insight into all areas of the business and easier access thanks to a simplified and enhanced user experience.
