SAP Jam Communities is a cloud solution. System and software requirements depend on specific customer scenarios, and are subject to change. Refer to the SAP Jam Communities guides for more information about system and software requirements, and the latest information on updates and releases.

System Requirements Description
Web Browsers SAP Jam Communities supports the following: Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer 8 to 11, and Safari 5 to 7
Browser Configuration SAP Jam Communities uses caching heavily for static content. We recommend that companies do not clear their cache as this will significantly impact performance. The minimum recommended cache size is 250 MB. Newer Web pages must be enabled. HTTP 1.1. and JavaScript must be enabled. Browser session cookies (non-persistent) must be enabled for authentication purposes. The browser must allow pop-up windows from SAP Jam domains (these are used to display some types of content).
Network Bandwidth Recommended network bandwidth is a connection speed of 300-400 Kbit/s. SAP Jam Communities is designed for speed and responsiveness with minimal use of large graphic files.
Java Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 1.7 or higher is required for recording audio and video. JRE 1.7.0_6 or higher is required to use the learning management system (LMS) offline player.
